We've been extended!

Yes, it was an exciting beginning to the week. Divine Manipulation of the Threads had it's "soft" premiere showing on Monday. Between the interviews, running across town, buying 3-D glasses, and freaking the hell out I managed to catch the 1:20pm and the 7:35 show. The house didn't sell out but it was pretty freakin' packed for the first evening show. The laughs poured out in the right spots (thankfully) and everyone seemed to be pleased with the end result. The attendance has been interesting to watch... I recognized familiar faces, I see new faces, and continue to enjoy the tail end of the movie making process: SHARING IT WITH PEOPLE.
This brings me to the big news. Our screenings have been extended an extra week. That's right we'll be showing through this weekend and the show will end on Thursday April 6th. Bring a friend, tell a stranger, come on out this weekend to support local film! Need the times? Go to www.malco.com . We're still playing at Malco's Studio on the Square. 1:20pm, 4:30pm, 7:35pm, and 9:40pm.

There is also a fantastic article that was written last week by John Beifuss of the Commercial Appeal. You can read it here.

There is also a fantastic article by The Daily Helmsman (U of M paper) that can be found here:

My good friend Stone Free Joey aka Forrest Pruett also shot some interview questions by me this week that can be found here:

I'm a bit long winded... even when writing... or especially when writing...

There will be more updates as we get them. It's been a crazy week and I'm trying to hold on as tight as I can.

I'm truly astounded that the film was created with no budget; it's a testament to the determination and talent of all those involved. The film was genuinely entertaining. I'll look forward to the next Rusted Sun production.

Congratulations!
